Manny, Manny, Manny!!!!

I guess of all the many more players that didn't go...Manny is being singled out as a 'bad [bad] man' for not scooting down there.

All of us Yankee fans are celebrating the departure of Rahairmess from the AL East division. The sun is always shining somewhere.

As long as he's left the AL East I'm OK with it. To never see him at bat again in Baltimore is just fine as fine can be, LOL.

Bill :)

I understand and when the Os are on the West Coast I will watch the Yanks V. Red Sox and I do enjoy seeing a good player. But I don't want to see them hit home runs against the home team. Against someone else that's fine - but when I go to see my team play I don't want to see Babe Ruth in the on deck circle, LOL.

idea: why doesn't Manny take pledges to raise funds for related research /care- you know, one of those I'll cut my hair for $1M type things

he might actually clean up pretty good (like Johnny Damon did), it's about time he pulled up his socks :)

I gotta say, as mediocre as they Jays are, atleast I'm glad everyone in our lineup looks like an real ballplayer:) ...I know, I know, you can't judge a book by it's flimsy cover

...where have you gone, Freddy Lynn (or Rice or Evans)?

hey, I missed the transaction part...imo, he'll suit LA perfectly:)

If Manny had been traded to New York he'd have to get rid of the hair..like Damon did..Steinbrenner rules of play!
lol

Johnny Damon cleaned up nice? No way.

He had personality in Boston. Now he's just one more generic Yankee. Fortunately he took the curse with him and the Yankees will never again win the World Series.

Unfortunately I'd probably be 200 years old before anyone else bot 26 world championships.

Well, he's certainly off to a great start in L.A.

I figure the tabloids will soon be reporting his involvement with Britney, Paris, and (just fill in the blond bimbo name of your choice). I'll bet he'll make to it to first base on their playing field.

Okay....I'm game........I betcha that before the end of the regular season Rahairmess will be reported to be involved with a female in the Hollywood crowd. It may not be true, but that's what will be reported.

The wager ? How about a set of guitar strings ? My flavor is D'Addario, medium gauge.

Whaddaya think ?

I'm in -Martin Silk & Steel. Could also use a guitar better-suited for my favorite strings ;)

So before the end of the regular season...

It's a bet.

I'm not familiar with the Martin Silk & Steel. Is there a certain gauge you prefer ?

And just to clarify my preference.......it's D'Addario acoustic medium gauge.

At the end of the season, we'll figure out the logistics for mailing via PM. I assure you, I always pay my debts.

I love making goofy bets, especially on goofy characters.

Oh, absolutely! It's the Sampson and Delilah effect.

For players who leave you scratching your head when you meet in person vs their image, many years ago I got to be on the field at Shea for batting practice. Who was the charmer, the guy making sure you got pictures and autographs? Carl Everret who had a reputation as nasty as you could get.

Next someone will tell me what a nice guy Milton Bradley is....

No. No. Wrong company....

I keep hoping that some organization has two guys named Parker that they could trade for him - trading Milton Bradley for the Parker brothers... Actually I think Mattel owns the whole thing now...

Well if there aren't two guys named Parker...we can go with another game co. that has at least one brother, "Hasbro".

Knowing of jj's adroitness with photo manipulation, that is entirely possible.

So.......until I see it with my own eyes, I will not be convinced. Looks like I'll be heading to the grocery store sooner than I expected. I'll report back.

you should know better than to question the integrity of these sort of publications or to presume that I'd tamper;)

...ok, I'm off to fetch my Webster's and look up 'adroitness'
