Lightfoot 6/19-2008-Morristown,NJ-tix for sale

I have two tickets for this row right up front - row B, seats 120 and 121. Unfortunately I am not at all a well Fezo at this point and will gladly sell for face value which is $170 for the pair. Let me know.

Apologies to the Lightheads that will be there. Will catch the next NJ show.

Steve I was very pleased to have become involved as the "middleman' (WOT no commission??!)
I can assure you that the lucky pair you are selling them to will most certainly enjoy them, just too bad that you are
Not A Tall Well

A perfectly correct but non functioning syntax for displaying an images it is actually at:-
http://www.johnfowles.org.uk/images/tall_well.jpg
A two foot wishing well goes into the doctor’s and said "I don’t feel very good"
Doc said "yes you're not a tall well."

they were certainly a splendid pair of seats
you were actually very lucky to get them.
On the day tickets went on sale we got online or the phone early and bagged the three pole positions in row A
shortly thereafter we repeated the exercise to get two more for two more of our family and were allotted two in row B. I then phoned fellow New Joysian "fezo" because the pair next to our last pair were still available and he obviously got them.
I just checked and the best pair now available are quite a way back in Row FF
for those who don't know in Steve's profile he at one time listed his home page as :-
http://fmoworld.com/fezo/
However that organisation died back in 2005 it appears
But fortunately the fantastic internet archive's "Wayback Machine" at
http://www.wayback.notlong.com
has saved no less than 16 sets of that website from 2000 up till the demise of fmoworld in 2005
I have given a simple notlong link to the set from August 2001
http://www.fezo.notlong.com
I noted before that the archive, although it does save images,in general it does not save larger files such as audio files
and having labouriously saved each page I am attempting to rebuild Steve's site to be hosted on a free hotlinkable web site provided by fileave
http://www.fileave.com, complete with a set of high quality (192KBPS) mp3s so that you can download his one and only CD album from 1996
(The front cover complete with a picture of Steve you can see on the archived site)
And here is the jewel case back insert with setlist

I have just spoken to Steve and he has graciously agreed for me to show a link to what I found to be the simply splendid and catchy CD title track:-
http://fezo1.fileave.com/mp3s/02.Tak...For_A_Walk.mp3,
Perfectly good download URL but the mp3 file extension insists on changing to non existant .htm
(the track is 3:09 long and its file size is 4.37MB)
If using Internet Exploder simply right click then "Save Target As"
play it a few times and see if it sticks in your head. or make such comments as spring to mind
If you are on a MAC then that is your problem!!

Re: Lightfoot 6/19 in Morristown, NJ

Err Umm I do not know what is wrong here. Today my usual displaying of images is on strike and now a perfectly good URL for an mp3 insists on changing itself to an HTML file absolute rubbish. No time to fix it now so I'll try to fathom out what stoopid gremlins are interfering on Monday sorry Steve

Re: Lightfoot 6/19 in Morristown, NJ

Since Steve has only made a single CD and that was all of 12 years ago the biography on his original site is sadly out of date.
I have taken it upon myself after talking to him on the phone to add an updating paragraph to his old web page, and have uploaded it to the free fileave website I am using to recreate his webpage it is now at:-

Re: Lightfoot 6/19 in Morristown, NJ

Many thanks, Sir John! In theory my little grabber URL should take one there but that has not happened in practice yet. Stay tuned.

I sure do hope Gord works in another NJ stop on the tour. The fabulous Count Baise Theatre in Red Bank is undergoing its first full renovation over the summer and will be reopening in October looking much like it did when in opened in 1926. Gord's played it so many times when it was falling apart. He'd love what it's going to look like. Lyle Lovett called it one of the great rooms in the country. Far be it from me to argue with Lyle.

Interesting concept Steve but I realy have no idea what your "little grabber URL" is
Meanwhile I sussed out why my download link was not working. I had a silly error in the mp3 file name so the fileave site kindly told my browser to download a simple html file to tell me that the file as named in my link did not exist,. Fair enough
So here is an update:-

If you have read my amended biography of Steve Lasala a.k.a."fezo" at:-
http://fezo1.fileave.com/biotxt_revised.htm

you would have read that he modestly described four of the songs that he wrote that appear on his CD:-
"The CD is a collection of all original music ranging from the sweet and sentimental
title cut,"
Taking The Moon For A Walk3:09 4.37MB
"to the outrageous hit'
Is the Chicken Done Yet 4:22 6.05MB
"a sad but funny story about a marriage done in by BBQ'D chicken
and the old time country sound of"
http://fezo1.fileave.com/mp3s//03_Ou...iams_Songs.mp3 3:38 5.03MB
"The tape also includes the hauntingly beautiful song"
Mommy, Can You Hear the Rain? 5:07 7.06MB
the story of the short and tragic flight of Jessica Dubroff, the little girl pilot."
"all links above should now work to save a high quality (192KBPs) mp3 if you right click on the link and "Save Target As"
(the Mooning song is my personal favourite but I do get a good chuckle out of the BBQ Chicken ditty."

Re: Lightfoot 6/19 in Morristown, NJ

now to try this sily picrture display link again
http://www.johnfowles.org.uk/images/back_insert.jpg
is the correct URL copied from my adres bar when the scan of steve's D back insert wasdciorrectly showing in my browser
so if I stick the vbb /ubb codes {[img] and [img]} around it
it had flippin' well better appear. If it doesn't I have no idea what could be wrong. 'Sides I successfully displayed a superb picture of a Concorde and a Spitfire flying together earlier on the test forum dinn' I??

Yes, a very lovely song about a terrible tragedy. For some factual information, here's a link to the NTSB report:

http://www.avweb.com/news/safety/183036-1.html

The song brought tears to my eyes. Great song, Fezo.

Re: Lightfoot 6/19 in Morristown, NJ

Thanks.

In one of the most intense moments in life I actually met Jessica's mother maybe six months after I released that. It put a different perspective on things hearing how she viewed things vs. the media portrayal but I wouldn't change anything. Her two other children seemed happy and were very friendly kids.
