Oh no, this is soo funny! But I get the impression, that her 'old man' still has not clue what he's getting into. If he would know he'll wind up in the internet for everybody to see, I'm not sure he would be so relaxed :)

Many thanks to his daughter!!! I'm wondering if she might read this newsgroup?

He should buy her a real guitar. She obviously has some talent!

Auburn Annie 10-02-2006 11:48 AM

Personally I hope he never catches on - these "home movies" are priceless.

The way his daughter reacts when she sees him speaks volumes about the kind of father and person I always assumed that he was.

I bet he wouldn't care at all if he knew she put these little videos on the internet. He'd probably let himself get talked into it just to put a smile on his proud daughter's face. :)

"Mr. Lightfoot, in your career, in the beginning, how did you get started."..

Too funny.. I think Gord's in big trouble!..

Auburn Annie 10-02-2006 04:34 PM

Yep, she's got daddy wrapped right around her pinkie - and he's thoroughly enjoying it.

Does anyone else hear Meredith say her father's eating turds in this one?

That's what one of them said. I actually thought he was holding a handful of brown M&M's, but I guess not.

Jennifer 10-02-2006 05:44 PM

Oh jeez, he looks so unsuspecting... He has no idea his daughter has made him a You Tube video star

Smile Gordon, you're on candid camera! :)

Auburn Annie 10-02-2006 06:52 PM

That was first guess, or maybe Junior Mints but those are more black than brown.

The kid is talented..

Jennifer 10-09-2006 04:49 PM

I am surprised to see this is still up at You Tube?!

I am sloooowly catching up online after several days of no power due to a nasty storm in the Chicago area last week. Then over the weekend, I was catching up on all the stuff I couldn't do in the damn DARK with no electric during last week.
Trying to get ready for work at 6 a.m., fumbling around in pitch black, getting ready with a bleedin' kerosene lamp like we went back in time 100 years... not fun! But it did make me soooo grateful for these wonderful electric lamps, my coffee-maker and appliances, and my beloved computer! The same computer that I was cursing out the weekend previous to last has now regained it's status as a precious thing to be cherished. :D

Peter Bro10 10-10-2006 07:46 AM

Thanks to all for the links! great stuff. a bit of insight too.

My guess is chocolate covered peanuts.

Jennifer 10-10-2006 07:02 PM

I say Whoppers or Milk Duds!

brink- 10-10-2006 07:44 PM

yeah, Jennifer they look like duds. At the beginning of the other video he comes in chewing, so I am betting it is the caramel delights that he has.

charlene 10-10-2006 07:46 PM

I don't know if Milk Duds are available up here....or Whoppers for that matter...

I'm sticking with chocolate covered peanuts!!!

Jennifer 10-11-2006 05:31 PM

Hmmm, no Whoppers or Milk Duds available? Well then my next guess might be the Brachs Almond Supremes.

This thread is starting to make me crave chocolate!

Auburn Annie 10-11-2006 06:25 PM

Now where are my dark chocolate Dove bars? Yum!
