-   -   Can you unscramble the letters, to spell something relating to : Gordon Lightfoot. (http://www.corfid.com/vbb//showthread.php?t=13680)

Jesse Joe 05-29-2006 05:45 PM

Yes it is exactly what I did, except I posted all of them in one shot. Not interesting for me or you all. Another way to do this, would be to put one on, and the person who gets it, then he or she puts one on. That way everybody interested in playing would get a shot, at posting one. Just a suggestion myself. Dont know what you all think? :)

Janice 05-29-2006 06:00 PM

Actually, Jessi-Joe, that's not a bad idea at all. That way you would have the chance to unscramble some as well :) Plus it wouldn't be such a job for one person to keep having to come up with all the puzzles.

Jesse Joe 05-29-2006 06:41 PM

OK, So lets give it a try then. Im going to post one, and the one who gets it will post the next one, and so on. I dont think youll be hearing from me here much anymore? :D :D :D

OK here it goes, A Lightfoot song containing, 18 letters. :D

>> HIT ME AT SILTER HE WAS>> Good Luck!! ;)

This one is taking some time, where are you brink? Janice, Sheryl, closet canadian, Borderstone, Joveski, and of course Charlene, and everyone else who plays this, your too numerous to mentioned. :D

This is maybe the attitude that you must have to get it. >

So The Lito Nis Tawe. :D {Gordon Lightfoot song.}

I can only speak for myself, but I've been very busy with work...it tends to cut into my play time!

Answer to last scramble is:
It's Too Late, He Wins

Next one:

Ten Saw A Ghost Die Me (17 letters)

closetcanadian 06-04-2006 06:48 PM

Hmm...is this thread going to die of natural causes?

Here's a hint ~ this song was one of the previously unreleased tracks on the Songbook boxed set.

Let's see what this Corfiddler's made of.

Uhh...sorry James but that would be an incorrect guess. The answer will be an anagram of the 17 letters used in the scrambled clue, "ten saw a ghost die me". And I think I prefer the term "lighthead" or at least "corfidian". :)

Janice 06-04-2006 09:44 PM

Like you Closetcanadian, the clock has not been generous with play time. It's even a little more difficult now that we create a new anagram when we've solved the existing one :)

ten saw a ghost die me = A Message To The Wind

That's true, Jessi-Joe, Lightfoot did not write the song, but he recorded it and that makes it Lightfoot related and therefore still topic specific, right? Or did I unintentionally blunder?

Jesse Joe 06-05-2006 09:55 AM

No My Dear, :) you did not blunder. And I didn't want to sound like I know it all either. I guess it's just to give credit where credit is due... :) http://www.home.earthlink.net/~budch...ggerblink2.gif

That's cool, Jessi-Joe, I believe in giving credit where due, I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss something and pick the wrong song :)
