I wanted to share one of my favorite Kefera videos.
Of course, I love the cat in it...lol.

Pentangle had some great music and this is one great selection. I love the energy of this song and the flow of the guitar.

Really enjoyed this song Nightingale, this has to be the greatest from him yet. And that guitar playing on this one sure sounds great. It looks like a "SEAGULL" Guitar, (Made In Canada)

I would buy one of his CD's too, Jesse. He doesn't have any so I guess we just gotta watch him at the 'Tube...lol.

He did a pretty good cover of that great song, didn't he?

Yes, I would think that it is a difficult song to sing. Like lots of Gordon's songs, the melody is rather unusual and hard to stay with when you are singing it.
It is for me anyway but I can't sing so what do I know....lol.

Either way, I like Kefera's version of this very much. :)

Hi Patti and Jesse :)

I love Black Day In July. It really does have to be one of the most brilliant 'story' songs ever written. I love the emotion and intensity of this song...love the way it builds as the story is told.

Shoot, I would have wanted the ten albums, too...lol.

That's really funny about your nephew, Patti. He will like seeing this video...lol.
I have never heard of Vince Martin but Kefera knows so much about the early years of folk music that he sings or knows of all of them.

It's too bad this song was banned from the radio when it came out. I bet a lot of people have never heard it. :(

It's so full of the stark truth of that time. Powerful and certainly gives you the visual image of anger and fear, indifference and mistrust.
Brilliant song.
