I understand. I almost submitted "Butternut Grove" (since it is an edible nut), but reconsidered. I refuse to end up like Barbaro.

And they lived for a time that way

And she said to the boy one day - ~gl

Q for Linda re: above submit: is not meat a no- brainer..? , IAE - But what of the meta-food word 'food' lol - all joking aside, I've a feeling its too generic...not a valid submit: no argument here....thoughts ? Thank you  :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

I allowed "dinner" for mandoann, "meals" for RM, so "food" is on just as solid ground. I'm placing these in the "miscellaneous" category on my tracker. Add to these Jesse Joe's flourish earlier today and the foods have now overtaken the beverages!

"...just fetch some wine and set it there" (Minstrel of the Dawn)

"...where maps are contained and what's left of his brains when his crew threw his balls to the sharks" (Too Many Clues In This Room). I guess that counts as fish food but remember I didn't write the line, G.L. did.

For the same reason dinner, meals and food worked, I'd say yes to eat (counting in miscellaneous category). Since I did allow "gin bottle" from Circle of Steel it would seem logical to include alehouse too. Flagon is questionable, however, but just for a moment. People do say things like "drink a pint" with the assumption meaning beer/ale/stout, etc. I wonder if anyone ever says "drink a flagon." Presumably that's what GL had in mind, especially since it's in the same line with ale. So let's go for it and err on the side of yes. The key here is they are all in the context of food. Respectable indeed, Jesse Joe. Good work! This brings the food and beverages to an even tie!

Song: Lazy Mornin',

Another lazy mornin', come suppertime I'm gonna light my barbecue

I've checked to see that it had not been used so far... It's kind of surprising that it hasn't, maybe I've missed it, if so, {My Apologies} :)

Me, too, since from the same song we got "coffee's in the kitchen," from your rival RM no less!

Are you sure ? I found "dinner's served" from Yarmouth Castle, but not from Rosanna.

Nope....he's spent. To ensure he retains some value for stud services, it's best that I rein in this well-lathered and weary steed. I concede the race to Jesse Joe.

I think we missed one of the earlier ones. It comes from a song whose title is two synonyms. Can anyone find it?
