I also as soon as I got back from Toronto on Thursday (19th) posted a reminder on both corfid and the Newsgroup of the plans... Hi Dan here, sorry didn't meet you all. But It was a hastily arranged trip! I ended up staying in the backpackers inn! and was on an extremely tight budget! By the way, I know this has been discussed before but whats the easiest way to post a picture on here, as i have a couple of pics of gord to show.

The late comer in the D-18 T-shirt that you mentioned, John, is the owner of #3. He and his wife introduced themselves to me, but I can't remember their names, now. They found out about the gathering by accident after overhearing some of the group talking somewhere (I'm not sure if it was the hotel lobby or at Massey Hall.) They were invited by said group to join us and I'm thrilled that they did. They seemed like very nice folks.
I also sent a private message to Dan O'Malley sharing with him the plans, but never heard back from him. |

So for now use the free album facility presented by MSN Communities 1.firstly make sure the desired pix are easily accessible (On a floppy is the easiest way I find) 2.then simply go to either the GL home page at:- http://groups.msn.com/TheHomePageOfG...t/shoebox.msnw Or to the group I set up specificaly for this purpose at:- http://groups.msn.com/corfiddisplay 3.On either one enroll yourself as a member 4.then click on the relevant "pictures" menu item to access the photo albums 5.select the "corfid testing" album 6.click on "add photos" 7.Install the MSN tool which is a quick process 8.you should then see a list of your computer's drives select as appropriate 9.a 'thumbnail" display of all pix on that drive should appear alongside the drive listing 10.check the pic you want to upload 11.edit the picture if desired you can rotate it if necessary and/or do some basic editing there such as:- adjust brightness contrast and crop but not resize (that is another subject that I will be addrssing as too large a picture can cause scrolling problems on this forum) 12.when ready click the "upload now" button and bingo 13.you can now link to it How exactly?? 14.Right click on the thumbnail to load the full picture in your broweser 15.then right click on it 16.select properties 17.highlight and copy the picture's address to your clipboard (as far as where it will say jpg) 18.
