Re: How's it hanging?

Myself, the closet I'll come to having any Lightfoot memorabilia is the ticket stub I plan on framing in October, along with a flyer or programme from the concert here in October. I know that I'm going to have the best time ever as I just finished watching his Live In Reno concert that our local PBS station broadcast this evening & I LOVED it!!!

Hi all! :) You'll have to pardon my abscence from the site,I'm on vacation from work (wish I was out of town but "no-go") and have been taking care of some personal matters.

Anyhow,a long ime ago I made a thread call "Borderstones GL Stash" or such but it has since been deleted.

To make this simple :

I have all 20 regular "offical" LPs/CDs. That being the five UA'a and the
remaining WB/Reprise + Harmony on Linus & Songbook.

I have Early Lightfoot & the original "Sit Down Young Stranger",both auto- graphed.

I have numerous UA "Best Of" collections (if not all). I have Complete Greatest Hits & Classic Masters (technically another UA but put out by Capitol I believe.)

I have also 5 out of his 6 hit 45's here in the US. I don't have the single of "Rainy Day People".

I have Live In Reno & Harry Tracy as well. A lot more too.

That one was great. I was impressed with the energy that he had during the show which seemed to be that of a much younger person. What was really great was when they would get a good close up shot of him & you could see his eyes smiling. Beautiful!:)

This is a great shot of Gord. Their is just something so amazing about him with that beautiful 12 string Gibson B-45 (sunburst) guitar, that you can't wait for him to strung that first chord.

Whenever I watch my "Live In Reno" DVD, and he starts "Early Morning Rain" it sends goosebumps on my goosebumps... lol

Thanks for sharing this Peter, I now have it on my desktop, with lots more that I change from time to time. :)
