Okay, here are my two photo contributions. First is a wide shot of the Paramount's sign and marquee, the second will be of my mom and sister under the marquee. Both taken before the show while it was still daylight. What an evening!
And for those paying close attention, the date stamp on my camera was off one day....

That's really great Tim. Thank you for the story. As I've found, dreams rarely come true on their own, sometimes you have to help them along a little. Sounds like you've got great kids, and what a legacy you've left them with--an appreciation for Gordon Lightfoot.

It was not cold outside the theater in Aurora at all. But I did notice that Gord was wearing a sweater and layers of clothing. Maybe he didn't want to take any chances. Also, if he was going to be getting on an airplane maybe the temps on the aircraft, or the temps in the middle of the night back at Toronto, were of a concern.

In any case, it sounds like the concerts in Minnesota were very triumphant and that his voice, and his health, are in fine form.

Tim ~
Am SO happy for your family......especially your kids. This is a time that they will remember forever. Just think how this is going to influence the direction of their young lives. That's just so beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Err Umm not the fabulous Suite
An interesting trivia question, and to save Yuri from propelling his wheelchair up a flight of stairs, never an easy task I know
Here is the German Picture sleeve from a current ebay auction by a gent from Munich, Bavaria, Germany

and for very good measure and proof here as thumbnail uploads are three other foreign picture sleeves from my artwork collection, from left to right these are
  • The Portugese as you can read for yerself is also Too Late For Prayin, as also I suspect is
  • the Spanish since it takes precious little imagination or knowledge to hazard a guess that "tarde" in Spanish is "late" but I cannot vouch for
  • the Japanese entry!!
Fabulous report Tim and another to add to my growing corfid highlights listing. now be a good chap and try to persuade some more Newsgroupers to read it by replying to
Annie C's Aurora thread at:-

Thanks Sir John,
I had my copy in hand about a month ago while doing some inventory and "house keeping". My wife Cathy put it up in my office in a safe place which once chosen, can never be located again. I recall my cover as being different from those above. I believe it is a British release as I obtained my copy via your friend and mine, Brian Walters. I'll scan it in if it ever is found again...
BTW, great story Tim!
Cheers, Yuri
