Lightfoot Featured In Frets Mag

Taken from May '85, this is a great article on Lightfoot and his genius guitar playing. I noticed some dicussion in another thread about his picking style and thought for those of you who have never read this, would enjoy it.

Although I reduced the scanned images a lot, they were left big enough so you can actually read the print. I've scanned the entire article, including the cover which features Lightfoot. 8 scans total.

I liked the part where he says:

That was 21 years ago when he was almost 47...and he's STILL that man I think at almost 68.

Nice article. Thanks for posting it. I don't know if you play or not, but the piece is full of great advice. Lightfoot has been described as a "craftsman" (in a somewhat derogatory manner) in reviews I've read. Perhaps the music is crafted, but when blended with his poetry, one has a piece of art.
