Ann Morgan Gilburt of Dick Van Dyke Show & The Nanny - RIP :
I just red on CNN that a favorite of The Dick Van Dyke Show,
Ann M. Gilburt has passed on at the age of 87. After most recently beig diagnosed with cancer.
Her daughter stated her mother had a brief illness and it was then over.
Those that saw The Dick Van Dyke Show on CBS or even in reruns , remember her character of Millie Helper greatly. A terrific friend to Laura Petrie and Rob, along with husband Jerry Helper (Jerry Paris).
She later was Fran Fine's grandmother on "The Nanny"
(also CBS.) A role of a woman in her 90s played by a much younger Ann then.
In either case a very funny lady and actress.
R.I.P. Ann and thanks for the laughter.
