Thanks for all these great posts Char! We appreciate your efforts through many years here at corfid. You soldiered on long after the creator of the website faded away from involvement. If not for Gord I probably would still be thinking "I've got to see Canada one of these days" but you were there for our 3 visits to your lovely country! You were so welcoming and friendly to all.

I don't have the right words to express our appreciation but please know that most of us know the time, love, expertise, etc. that it took for you to do all that you did.

Please accept our condolences for your loss which all of us share with you.

You're the best!

With much love,

BILLW :)

I'd like to second everything Bill W said. You've kept us all informed for alot of years & I know it's been appreciated more than it's ever been expressed!

thanks for the kind words!! this site has been a labour of love for sure...thousands and thousands of hours spent keeping it up to date - altho I do need to post more recent items/reviews etc. but knowing it is appreciated makes it well worthwhile.
Gordon knew about it as did some in his family and band and they appreciated the work too.. I heard from them this past weekend in Orillia when several came over to me to express their appreciation while I was there to express my condolences... that is who they are- lovely, generous, kind people...
I do wish Florian would get this site working properly tho.. Facebook is a cesspool of inane things that are relentlessly re-posted, very little of what is informative is actually read. It is disheartening at times..
So I will soldier on as usual and keep pressing on!
thanks again folks!
Char

Char,
I'd like to add my appreciation too, for all your years as moderator. The information and tributes you've posted since Gord's passing have been especially comforting.
