I am a big fan of John Denver, but have never heard this interpretation of W & W.
What I would recommend is JD’s ‘Earth Songs.’
New recordings of some famous songs, along with completely new songs especially for
the album.
The sound quality is, in my opinion, among the best of all of Denver’s albums.

Thanks for that! I moved from Texas to Fort Collins 1 1/2 years ago. Am getting in touch with my John Denver. Saw a great video on PBS recently. Gordon and Denver just seem to go together. Mountains and Maryann, Rocky Mountain High. Just such great stuff. We lost John way to early. Thank goodness we still have Gord!

I had to dig deep in my previous posts, because I thought I had sort of posted a link to this song before... and I did, over three years ago... A whole collection of early John Denver live performances from 1969, with this song and For Lovin Me... Unfortunately the links in the thread are no longer any good. I downloaded all of them at the time though. No one ever commented on that post, so I don't know if anyone but myself around here did.
