Had a great day in Nashville, checking out Honky Tonk Row and being amazed at the huge number of Kentucky basketball fans who came here for the March Madness regionals.

Went on a tour of the Ryman Auditorium. What an amazing place! As we were wandering around looking at the memorabilia on display, who did we see also checking out the great items, but Gordon Lightfoot.

Had a chance to talk for a bit and for Bev to meet him for the first time.

Very much looking forward to the show tonight.

Will post more when we get home on Tuesday.

Fab time indeed.

The Ryman Auditorium is an unbelievable place . . . so rich in history.
Early in the show, Gord said something like, “It is an honour to be walking on these hallowed boards. This is the third time I’ve played here. Once was on Johnny Cash’s show”.

I would have guessed that he would have performed there many more times over the years.
