At some point, hopefully Char will get another chance to interview Lightfoot--he's been fairly active in participating in interviews with the press over the last few years, but they seem to cover the same questions. I thought this was a good place to discuss some new topics for Lightfoot to discuss. Please add your questions below. Here are a couple of starters:

"Tell us about the Four Together concerts with Harry Chapin, John Denver, James Taylor and yourself--how did those come about and what was your relationship with the others? Any backstage stories? Were these ever recorded and any thought to put recordings out?"

"You never put out a Christmas album--never had interest or received any pressure from the record company?"

I too have a list and we talk about another chat almost every time I see him..lol..
I will see about doing one in the new year before he heads out on tour. I'll see him at the Hugh's Room Lightfoot trib show mid January..

Gord:

Were you every tempted to record a concept album? (If so, what concept did you have in mind?)

Were you ever tempted to record an instrumental track (i.e. a track without vocals)?

Why did your albums include such a high number of songs in 3/4 (waltz) time?
