The white dress Leona is referring to here would have to be the one she wore at the 1980 Olympic Benefit concert in Toronto when she had to follow Harry Chapin.

A difficult and daunting task it was indeed because Harry had the audience in the palm of his hand by the time he was done. But Leona pulled it off. The mere presence of her just walking across, guitar in hand to take her place on the stage in that dress sure drew enough focus to settle everyone down. When she plucked out the first few notes on her guitar the audience went practically silent.
