Oh my, I didn't realize this just happened. I hadn't been on in a long time, and saw the drumming post, but thought it must have happened some time ago. My condolences. I met and chatted with him at the meet before the benefit concert at Hamilton Place after Gord's illness. Thanks for posting this info and the link.

As someone who's 46 ,this is something that surely hits quite close to home.

I can only deepest condoelces to his family and all who knew him well.

This is so unexpected that I can't find any other words to offer than these.

i wasnt surprised reading a Book of Memories condolence and finding out that Gord was also a volunteer driver for cancer patients…

I love this picture, its brings joy ...and much sadness

So very sorry to hear this sad news. Although I never met him, he sounded like a very kind and generous person. May he rest in peace and may his family find comfort.

This is very sad news indeed. It's always a shock to lose a family member at such a young age.

Gord H sure was a dedicated Lightfoot fan and we'll miss him and his contribution here.

My condolences go out to his family.
