Snow Blind Friend

I seem to recall hearing GL do Hoyt Axton's song "Snow Blind Friend" in concert a long time ago. Do any of the rest of you remember any such thing?

he also recorded it in studio during the Jan 1972 Don Quixote sessions but it became an outtake - had hoped it might appear on Songbook along with other rarities, but Too Much To Lose was selected instead

I just looked this song up on youtube and gave it a listen. Great song! Would love to hear Gord's version. Too bad it didn't make songbook.

Never knew Lightfoot covered this. Would love to see him release a 2 CD set of outtakes.


I have always loved the version by Steppenwolf. Great tune.
