Heard this song by Gordon on the radio a few days ago. Apparently a rarity on Fontana from 1963. He is billed as Gordie Lightfoot. It is a nice catchy tune. Cannot find it on YouTube. I have recorded it and have it on my computer, how do I get it on this site?

The Day Before Yesterday

Things were going well the day before yesterday
Everything was swell the day before yesterday
Everything was fine I loved you and you were mine
The day before yesterday
We were in love

Then someone came along
The day before yesterday
He sang you his song
The day before yesterday

Yesterday you lied when I found out today I cried
The day before yesterday we were in love

All I do is hang my head in sorrow
The state I’m in I can’t think about tomorrow

Things were going fine
The day before yesterday
Everything was mine
The day before yesterday
Seems you never know how well you’re off
Till you’re all alone
The day before yesterday we were in love

All I do is hang my head in sorrow
The state I’m in I can’t think about tomorrow

Things were going fine
The day before yesterday
Everything was mine
The day before yesterday
Seems you never know how well you’re off
Till you’re all alone
The day before yesterday we were in love
The day before yesterday we were in love
Day before yesterday
Day before yesterday

i've had the song for years... i've got it as an mp3 file, but i cant upload mp3s as an attachment here and if you can convert the audio file as a .zip file, under 5MB, that should work. love the song though!

Char, when I hit your link, it takes me to the iplayer page where you should be able hear the whole thing from about 37 minutes. I am assuming you can see all the songs featured. Gordon comes on after Gene Pitney

This is yet one more song from Gord that should have been a hit.
