Oh my.... - 1978...don't know where these were taken..but they've taken my breath away..

Interesting shot of guitar...appears to be a slot-head, slope shoulder Martin D-28. But the headstock looks like a nylon string guitar (seemingly large white plastic sting poles instead of silver small steel ones). But rest of guitar is most definitely a steel string Dread.

Have also seem a pic of him with a 12 string martin, and I wanna say maybe even once an ovation. Maybe if Rick would respond, he could fill us in...were these loaners after a theft or travel issues, or just impromptu changes?

Also, no capo. Perhaps an impromptu performance with someone else's gear?

I think I read that the Ovation pix were from a European tour where much of their equipment didn't make it over on time.
