It looks like Gord's playing two different Martin D-18s in these clips. Is he switching 6-strings during the show now? It's been a long time since I've seen him with a 6-string guitar other than the McGlincey or the beat-up 1930s-era D-18.

Look at the guitar in the Spanish Moss video vs his old one in the Home From the Forest video. Different colored strap, and his old one has the telltale wear on the top. Looks like he was trying a different one out for the first set?

Far before the Internet was even a thought , if you look carefully around Toronto and environs you will find drawings and paintings etched both in bark and on the trunks of trees which represent the first pictorial evidence of Char's fascination with Gordon & his band.

Apparently our Char was not the only one pointing her camera at the stage at BB Kings on July 24th; a representative of "The Grateful Web" ( a music website founded by a pair of New Jersey brothers in 1995) also recorded 8 videos (including a duplicate of one of Char's 7 that being the encore Rainy Day People)
Judging by the view he or she was sitting a table two way (on Mike's side) from the one that I was sitting at watching Char gallantly holding up her camera to record the 7 videos embedded above

I wish there were no kick drum and snare on many of these live songs but especially on Watchman. For some variety it would be great instead to have Barry doing the cool bongos rhythm heard on the album. And for Mike to suppress that solar electric keys sound, but I'm sure it's Gord who insists on all that stuff. I imagine Doidge has also given more than his 2 cents on nuances , and annoyances;)

Thanks for posting these incredible videos of what appears to have been an awesome concert in a fantastic venue. (I'm not sure I used enough adjectives in that sentence!) rainy day people and home from the forest are two of my favorite songs. I haven't been able to attend a concert this year, so seeing your videos took away some if the sorrow of missing the fun! Thanks for sharing.
