Encore: Waiting For You

Looked like a pretty good house. A bunch of the old jokes came out in honor of Father's Day. Mr. Lightfoot's voice held up nicely, as strong in Canadian Railroad Trilogy as at the beginning of the concert. I may have some pics to post if I can figure out this newfangled camera.

Now & Then

.

I checked the Lightfoot site but haven't seen setlist posted. If thus is so then it's great Gord has added a tune to the mix. Don't stop there, Gord!

He played Now and Then in Milwaukee in May.

I am gearing up for Sunday in Appleton. The Milwaukee setlist was awesome; I wouldn't mind at all if we get something very similar on the 23rd.

He *did* play Let It Ride after Wild Strawberries. I can't read my own handwriting, I was so excited that he sang Spanish Moss I wrote right on top of Let it Ride. D'oh.

have a great time, nif! :)

well i missed that thread and i'm glad some folks chatted about the addition

i'd like to hear that live new arrangement without the whiny steel

can any attendees recall if Mike was playing strings on his keys for that, or perhaps e-piano...naw

goodluck with the camera, ellen!

I don't recall what Mike was playing during that song, jj. If he plays it in Appleton, I will make a note of it.

It is difficult to scribble the setlist and additional notes in the dark, and my handwriting is bad in the best of times. After the show it's like interpreting hieroglyphics ;)
