Gord last played Waukegan in Mar2008. I had never heard of the place, but he mentioned it at the 30Mar2008 concert I attended in Wisconsin.

Waukegan, Illinois...home of Jack Benny, Ray Bradbury, George Chandler and Vincent Price. This once lovely community is now crime ridden due to poverty and high unemployment.

The Genesee is a grand old theater built in the 1920's and renovated about nine years ago.
