That is neat, Gordon inspired a great builder of guitars, but I have never heard of Gordon playing a Taylor. I had one about 20 years ago that i had bought at a pawn shop. It had recently gotten wet near the bottom edge, so I bought it cheap. I feared it might go bad and warp in the wet spot area. It was a beautiful sounding guitar and a friend of mine wanted it so I sold it to him. He called Taylor guitars and they said to send it in, and they would repair it, 'for free'. It came back, and you would never known it had any wet area on it. He sold it for a nice profit. I always thought them repairing a guitar for free, with no warranty on it, was exceptional.

Hearing Bob Taylor say that is incredible. Actually, that's one of the coolest things I've ever heard, with regard to Gord's influence on someone.

.............I made a 12-string guitar in high school woodshop so I could play Gordon Lightfoot songs.........

Wow, very, very cool.
