Thanks Doug for the link. I agree, Char, all that laughing by Dennis was annoying and took up too much time from the interview. I just hope Gord makes a visit to LI or the NY Metro area this year. I was hoping to see you all at Massey in Nov 2012, but circumstances both family and financial prevented it from happening. Looks like you had a nice time, as usual.

Doug... hey. I can't play the video right now'cuz my Wife is asleep not 8 feet from where I am. I'd put the headphones on (as usual) but I want the full effect. I look forward to checking it out (the new url) later. Can you set up the scene for me? Anyways...
Hi Charlene! "Long Thin Dawn"(live) almost ready...

Regarding Dennis Miller's giggling, he does that all the time on his show. That's his style. His show may be of the Conservative view, but he throws in a fun aspect. Thanks Doug for this MP3. Any opportunity to hear Gord first-person is Gold, even it's 6 minutes. There may have been some confusion at the end of the interview, Dennis congratulated Gord on the Canadian "stamp," Gord thought the Canadian "stamp" was the Canadian "brand," but they got it sorted out,it's a postage stamp.

Hey, Doug, "The Canadian Stamp"! That's freakin funny! Like I've said in the past, Gordon has this weird sense of humor, and I'll tell you, even if he doesn't mean to be funny, it can come across as very dry wit. But smooth. I'm smilin right now, remembering his quick play on words and uncanny ability to try to attend to everybodys comment and questions all at once. Ya' gotta' be there; and I was.. twice. He's so warm and positive. ..Such a role model for me. I am blessed with these memories!
