Hasnt happened since Leafs won the Cup. Ancient history

Wondered how many HRs he hit on the road? google

I miss old Tiger Stadium but this is a real nice new one

steroid-free MVP. Role model. Hero. (Kids need them)

I know little of him. But hope the above are all true. Cheers

Ps) ...I think these mini playoffs should be best 2 of 3

I agree - not that long ago the first round was exactly that!

Peace,

Bill :)

i don't think the Yanks should have pinch hit for Granderson ... just my opinion

good luck to your O's, bw... what a year...

i think they need to also elongate hockey playoffs so they run into August... yeah, make each round the best 11 of 21

i just read this response from Granderson:

"Yankees outfielder Curtis Granderson had a chance to spoil Miguel Cabrera’s Triple-Crown bid Wednesday, as he clubbed a pair of home runs Wednesday against the Red Sox. Those home runs gave him 43 on the season, putting him just one shy of Cabrera’s league-leading total. Granderson, not knowing that he was on the verge of leading the league, asked manager Joe Girardi to pull him in the seventh inning, to get Melky Mesa a chance at an at bat. When asked about what he would have done had he known he was just one home run shy, Granderson seemed to be genuinely conflicted. 'What would have happened?' he wondered aloud. 'How would it have been perceived? That would have been a weird moment for me.' "

even if he had hit #44, I would consider a HR title tie, still good for triple crown

... i understand Miguel also has a DUI in his trophy collection... role model, not

Thanks! Going from 69 - 93 last year to 93 - 69 this year was actually worth watching 162 games. After 14 years it was fun to actually think we might at least get to the post-season. So we'll see what happens - every team that's still left is playing great so it's a tough row to hoe. One game at a time...

At this time of year it's hard to see anyone eliminated but it is "just a game". Fun to watch and now we go to the Bronx with the series tied 1 - 1. Should be interesting, to say the least. thanks jj

We're rooting for the Tigers here:)

Hey Bill, Keith and my 8 year old are going to the Ravens/Cowboys game this Sunday. Didn't know if you were going to this one or not. Go Ravens!

Yep we were there. Sorry we missed them but there were 71,000 or so people to weed through. It's never easy but with Lewis and Webb out for the rest of the year we have a tough row to hoe (garden tool). Next home game is 11/11/12.

Bill :)

P. S. Looks like you're rooting for the winners so far - GO TIGERS! (the enemy of my enemy is my friend)

Yeah, they had fun. The weather was great and the Ravens won so all was good.
