Hello everyone.. I'm still here! Just figured it was about time I crawled out from my proverbial rock and let everyone know what's been going for the last 6 months or so. Oh jeez I just looked up on the upper right hand corner.. it's been over a year since I have made an appearance here.. ** sheepish grin**
Unfortunately due to my medical circumstances etc I really wasn't able to attend any of GL's concerts, and as such didn't really have much to add to the forum GL wise :)
Anyway just to recap, last time I was here I mentioned I was having some issues with my kidneys, well I still am but thanks to my brilliant Internist he has finally unearthed the underlying reason and hopefully things will be brought back under control.
On June 6 2012 I was officially diagnosed with a rare disorder called Adrenal Hyperplasia. Essentially what's been going on is that my adrenal glands have been pumping out too much Aldesterone, which in turn caused my BP to spike to dangerous levels, which in turn attacked my kidneys and well I'm thinking was also responsible for the amount of nasty migraines I've had to endure.
Fortunately this has been caught fairly early. I can't tell you how good it feels to actually to be able to get out of bed and actually get stuff done and go fishing and play my drums!
