was at a gathering of a dozen 7 year olds this morn (it was one of their birthday's ) where the event was a shinny game situated in a wooded area on a pond/marsh clearing....sunny, no wind but the air and ice were crisp

all back inside later for cupcakes shaped like Leaf hockey pucks... winter glory

when I was at Lake Louise in November and I looked at the lake solid with ice, in my mind I could see skaters out there - several hockey games going on, figure skaters doing their ice ballet and families with kids learning to skate... The ultimate backyard rink/pond hockey ice pad!
