If any of you, like me, are fans of Bob Seger as well as Gordon Lightfoot, you'll be interested to know Bob has just announced he's doing a concert tour, and apparently recording an album, for the first time since 2006. (And 2006 was after 11 years he chose to spend raising his kids.) I'm amazed I finally got to attend concerts by Gordon Lightfoot (2008 in Wisconsin) and Cat Stevens/Yusuf Islam (2010 in Melbourne). I'd like to cross the Pacific to Seger, but financial priorities are elsewhere this year.

Im so happy Bob is hitting the road again. Concert dates for Toledo, Saginaw and Grand rapids sold out quickly. They just announced a date for the Palace of Auburn Hills in Michigan. Hoping to snag a couple tickets. :)

Thanks for posting that excellent review, Char. (I could understand the reviewer's surprise at "Night Moves" being omitted, but according to www.bobseger.com (http://www.bobseger.com) , it has been performed elsewhere on this tour.) My friend in New Hampshire offered to take me to the Boston concert, but I can't go overseas this year.

Well, he appeared as scheduled, and let me tell you, the man has got nerves of solid steel, as we had some of the nastiest weather ever in ages on the night of the show. The man HAD to be good!!!

Charlene and Timetraveler,

Thanks for posting the additional feedback this week. I'm resigned to never seeing Bob Seger in concert. Last Thursday I saw Jethro Tull at Melbourne's Palais Theatre and they were worth every dollar.
