So today a Jeopardy round was "Canadian Music" and they didn't use Gordon! What is this world coming to?

The moderator may have been referring to the episode that aired 12-20-2010 :

Below is a link to the search results for Lightfoot on Jeopardy

Hey, that's a great web site! I would never have thought to look for it! I've been searching for people, places and Secretariat ever since I read your post!

no comparison to the number of Dylan occerences

wow, all the GL ones were TheWreck related...if he hadn't had a hit with that south of the border i wonder if any would have heard of him....of course there was the Sundown reference

certainly Alex would have been aware of him way back in the 60s, and probably a big fan

thanks, rm....hours of fun at that site and some family members will love this link

i recently saw Toronto Maple Leafs as a final jeopardy answer...2 right and 1 guessed the Jays

OK, with longtimers Oprah, Larry, Regis, Barker (i hardly recognize drew carey these days, lipo?) gone I wonder "when" Trebek announces and who would be good replacement???

i suppose he loves that ca$h rolling in (seems to have afforded him the good wife, i mean good life...lol)

lol...then again, there are more than five others from the north who have also done 'ok'

a relief that the GL questions were graded as medium difficulty...if having been able to associate GL and TWOTEF was deemed to be top ($1000 or $2000) difficulty, that would surely be an insult

Yes, I saw that Jeopardy episode, and was expecting Gordon Lightfoot, Ann Murray and Neil Young, but no joy...Alex Trebec needs to look into this matter. However I did see the Jeopardy episode a few weeks ago when they mentioned "Wreck of Fitz."

but not a bad crop (other than #3, lol) amidst those answers:

Alanis
Shania (many think she was born in Timmins)
Nickelback
Bryan Adams (many think he's from out west)
Rush

note: the Queen is on our nickelback...the beaver is on the front...it's true, lol
