Gord has been bumped from Letterman. No reschedule planned. Guess we all knew it was too good to be true. Poop.

Ya . . . that's a real disappointment.

I was very surprised, but delighted, when the news first came out.

Would love to hear why they decided to cancel . . . Kevin?

I get the nagging feeling that Dave, who is a fan, ok'd the idea, but someone in the show-producing chain thought Gord was too old an act to have on. Think about it, how many musical artists in their 70's has Dave, or even Jay, had on?

Probably a descision made by some 20 something in charge who as most likely never heard of (or heard) Lightfoot.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Was he bumped? Or did he have a change of heart for a personal reason?

It was the Letterman show's decision. No reason, no reschedule. It wasn't Gord's decision.

What are they waiting for? He was right in NYC again a few months ago.

Carter breezed through IYCRMM right off the bat. Maybe they're waiting for Gord to play it 49,000 more times before Dave's people all think it's tight enough?!

If you need a promotional reason to go on, maybe Gord could just hold the new book in hand. He doesnt have to look at it or read it, lol. Or he could just make this simple and release all of those crisp Massey recordings going back decades and/or last years Massey live HD filming ( for blueray release? )

that would be an interesting conversation. can you picture dave's line of questioning and Gord's reactions to the new book?
