Washing dishes with Anne Murray??

I saw this Juno Awards back in the mid 70's, but can't recall the exact year. It was before I owned my first VCR (1980) But I always remembered his sister Bev accepting it & saying something like Gord is at home doing (washing) the dishes... and she smiled.

I know it was in his drinking days as we read about it in the papers more times than one. So Im pretty sure my brother said something like he must be passed out drunk @ his home.
