Many of you maybe familiar with the 60's series "The Bevlerly Hillbillies where a southern hillbilly family strikes oil and move to Beverly Hills CA. and looking a bit out of place with their surroundings.

Nothing but a funny entertaining sitcom.

But at the IMDB boards somebody posts this what I saw stupid question.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0055662/board/thread/92427590

Now why would anyone even care and bother to even ask such a question?

Is it that hard to figure it's just a silly TV show?

I must admit, it does make you want to scratch your head a while as you try to figure it out. I grew up on the show, and over the years, I came to see that the Clampett clan were not failing to adapt to society, but rather society was having a hard time dealing with people who didn't let the world corrupt them & their morals. I often thought that the Clampetts were the ones who had a better grip on reality as it seemed that family and their neighbours well being was what mattered most. They were a bit simplistic, but they were good people.
