Readinng the post entitled,'I just stumbled upon this rarity' by John Fowles I followed the link to vimeo.Scrowling down and reading the information it states,"A small number of vinyl copies contain no title.
This is because the cover was originally supposed to be just a picture
of Lightfoot but it was then thought that stating the title would increase the albums sales"-etc.(quote from site)

I DON't want to obtain one of these copies.( I know you probably wouldn't part with it anyway)I just want to know if any of our members have one like this, how common are they, where did you get it,how long have you had it?

I never knew this about the cover of I.Y.C.R.M.M. Did you?

I forgot (until reading this) that I need to find one of those nameless copies. I have the other two variations. Thanks for the reminder.

Heck, I've actually got three copies of the album with no title on the front (just catalog info at the top right). Why did I bother to buy three copies though? Well that's because of the records inside the jackets! One is the normal tan colored Reprise label, one is a white-label promotional-copy style, and one is a two-color Reprise label with the "W7" - 7-Arts logo which was on the way out at the same time that GL was starting with Warners.

We talked about this in a previous thread, I posted photos those different labels, and a photo of one of my blank-cover sleeves (I have one still with shrink wrap on it, opened though) and a photo of yet a different label on the record that I had not seen before was posted as well:

There is an interesting current ebay auction for anybody possessing an R2R (reel to reel) tape recorder
http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-GORDON-LIGHTFOOT-3-3-4-REEL-REEL-/160453112640?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Music_Other_Formats&hash=item255bc03340
As the auction address URL says this is a tape whose box sports the rare ORIGINAL title for the IYCRMM/SDYS album that I had read about before and never really believed
I will attach an enlarged copy of the artwork that is accompanying the auction for all to clearly see this feature
