All the best for '2010' to every Corfidians... :)
Happy New Years to you too Pam and the rest of the Lightheads.
Sadly we leave behind a bookmark in time - the last decade in which Gord released new material on a record/CD.

As for me, my New Years "resolution" is going to be to get shed of this freakin' rotten sinus drainage so that I can go back to doing one thing that I like to do, and that is to sing along with all of my favourite tunes.

Today marks day #3 of not smoking. I made 2-3 serious attempts between Jan-March last year but longest I went was 5 days in Feb :(.

It gets easier. Just the first few days are the worst. The cravings get shorter in duration and farther apart.(opposite of labor, lol, but with labor you get the baby, quit smokin' and you get NOthin'!) I quit smoking I don't know how many times, but finally quit for good in June '98. It's nice to be a non-smoker for many reasons. Have a Happy New Year!

tsk. ;)
Good article, Jesse.
For some reason I think sweating helps. I did that. Maybe if you can go to a sauna, or find things to do that make you sweat.

Thanks for the support all . Sorry to say that I have been smoking a *little. I'm now using step#1 nicotine patches (a new box...not the expired ones I have from 2004 ;).
My 3 attempts last year were while I was away from home. The 1st, while staying at a friend's house and she helped me alot. The day I was planning to go home, we had a major storm coming, so I had to stay another night. Went out to move my car and was CERTAIN there had to be a cigarette in there, somewhere , but no. After a few hours, I was CERTAIN there had to be a cigarette in my car. Low and behold, I found a broken one wedged between the seats. I attached the filter and....mmmmmm it tasted so good I ran out to the store to buy a pack :(.
The other 2x's I tried to quit...I also went away....guess where? lol
I never smoke in the house and guess I was kinda missing going outside for a smoke, star gazing. That's my excuse and I'm going to keep trying so I don't have to come up with another excuse!

"nicotine patch dreams" are very entertaining :p
3 nights ago, I got punk'd by Ashton Kutcher while I was in a library.
The night before last, I was in a hospital visiting a friend and was walking down a hallway with a nurse on the way out. We ended up in a building, attached to the hospital that was an old, delapitated building. We stood there talking and as I was about to get into the elevator...I dropped my keys and they fell through a slat in the old wood floor.
I went down a long flight of old stairs and into a HUGE basement. There was some musical equipment and a few roadies working down there. I walked toward the back, passed a furnace and there, sitting on a table was Kris Kristofferson. He was talking with a couple of teens who were sitting on the floor, and we all chatted for a few - he was talking about his movie career.
After saying good-bye and walking a little further I ran into George Harrison sitting at a picnic table and I bummed a Marlboro from him. He didn't say a word and got up and left after he gave me the cigarette. Finally, I made it to the boiler room and found my keys on the floor.
Last night, my dream had me at a GL concert and before the concert -everyone was told that Gordon wouldn't be meeting with fans after. But after the concert, we were asked to go to a local diner.
And there, Gordon was waiting tables and chatting with the fans -all part of a fundraiser...he donated his tips to charity.

Sometimes it's fun to go to this site, and type a word into the blank, hit enter, and see what it says. cigarette, for example.
