dan, great seeing ya and appreciate that you took these and have shared, I'm looking forward to listening and viewing
the place was hopping and everyone seemed to have fun up on the stage and in the crowd...big thanks for setting it all up once again ron...you should mc and play at your own Live From McVeighs weekly radio show or better yet, tv show...low production costs and cbc has a selection of void spots on friday nights, make that every night but saturdays...ok, that one too:cool:
glad all now home safe...loved meeting eva and the whole lot

Great stuff! I particularly liked Paul & John's rendition of If Children Had Wings. You can sure hear Red coming through when Paul plays.

It sure was a lot of fun and my thanks also to Dan. It was great seeing you and Nancy again. Some wonderful memories wrapped up in all those ones you sent me Dan.
And JJ, you are too kind, but reading into your suggestion, maybe I might even have a future ahead of me yet.
Now, we need a title for the show.
How about "Late at Night with the Lightheads," or..."Late Knighted Lightheads?" That's a cool one.
I think it's time for my psyc visit.
Stay loose, RJ.

all good but i thought Live From McVeighs worked but I meant all sorts of acts and originals and covers of acoustic flavoured genres...I've said same for a Live from Hugh's Room...
it would be like the Rita McNeil Hour from the 90s but with Ron hosting instead...I guess you could say it would be the pint sized version

Sounds like a great idea, I'm sure McVeigh's would love the exposure. At worst, you could do a webcast.

JJ, you're such a genuine guy and it would be dream for me to be involved in that kind of work.
Being the ham that I am with such a like for the mic, an opportunity to work with the kind of talented folks who were with us in the pub and other acts that you mention could even move me up a notch or two from the mediocrity level where I tend to hang out most of the time.
As long as there's a Gord tune or two in the package we're on board. That always moves things along quite well.
Now, time for my milk and cookies. RJ.

AND - If we can get Billyboy, Matt, Derek, Ed and Cathy up here for Massey 2011 we'd sure have a full stage!
oh my - it would be grand!

Now that would be a dream come true Char. I always love to reflect on that moment last time they were up when I walked into the banquet room at the Delta Chelsea and there they were together singing "All The lovely Ladies."
Now there was one group talented folks.
I will cherish that memory and hope it will come alive again hopefully next time Gord does his Massey gig.
Cheers, RJ.
