Great pix of you and Lisa with Gord, Char!

Didn't realize the tree was Swarovski - it became my favourite landmark on Yonge St! And finally got to the CN tower this time.

My plane(s) have touched down in Vancouver and Portland, but I'm still up in the clouds after Massey 2009. Bring on 2010!

Between the "I ought to call you" surprise and subsequent call in Niagara Falls a few years ago,
this "Char! you're hair looks so great! It always looks good!" while he checks it out with his fingers,
the handshake from the stage in Calgary and
the "I'll Tag Along" for me in Florida I really think he's trying to shock me into a heart attack or something!!
lolol
I'm almost afraid what will happen next...
;)
Like Ann my head is still in the clouds...she sure looked like she was having the time of her life this week..see ya at the next one Ann!!
The crystal tree was magnificent..Jenney and I were in attendance when it was unveiled and the Canadian Tenors were singing carols...beeeyoootiful!

Char: Thanks for sharing the pics. It's nice to see that Gordon Lightfoot has never forgotten the connection/bond between himself and his audience. The songs are timeless.

I have been able to pass an appreciation of his music down to my three sons including one on his second tour in Iraq. Last week I babysat my first and only grandchild (Ella) who is four months old today. When she got a little cranky, I shared "Inspiration Lady" with her and it settled her right down.

Great pics all, thanks for sharing! The pub jam was a blast, lots of good talent took the stage. Special kudos to Kenyon for an awesome version of "All the Lovely Ladies."

Great pics, thanks for posting. Gord and the band look great as usual. The swarovski Christmas tree is breathtaking. I can only imagine what it looks like in person. I don't know what I'd do if Gord touched my hair - good that you stayed on your feet, Char.

The pic in #12 (top right), 100_3603 jpg from Lori is a painting. I love that shot. There's something in that image that captures a moment of trance that seems to be right there in a note that the whole band is completely wrapped up in.

The color the lighting on Mike, Rick and Barry is magic.

The intriguing thing about this photo is the way they all have their heads bowed which is entrancing.

They're all wrapped up in that one note and it seems to me like the A 11 chord in "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald."

Now if only I could paint.

RJ.

Hope this gets done correctly friends.

It's the original painting with Marian from the Mountains and our dog "Pussywillow."
