Bill was selected as the Featured Musician for September by the internet radio show "Mellow Melodies with Goody". They play a set of his music on each week's show, all available at any time from their podcasts. Here's the link: http://www.mellowmelodies.com/
And, if you'd like a quick sample, Bill has uploaded a video to You Tube. It's here: YouTube - Surviving the Cut - By Bill Hall - Copyright Late Cretaceous Productions 2006 (All Rights Reserved) This happens to be one of my favorite songs of his, and it blew me away. (This song is on the album, Cuts).
Check them out! Bill's web site is at http://billhall.us , and his albums are available there from his online store (visit the Albums page, and then click to the store).

That is truly fantastic but it is a real shame that they got the links to the individual tracks cocked up so you have to use their player or visit Bill's website
I found that all 12 tracks listed have the same incorrect link to the first artist on the list:-
http://www.grantpeeples.com/
Bill's fine "The Brightest Star" is at:-
http://billhall.us/audio/BILL_HALL-The_Brightest-2.m3u (HIFI broadband)
or
http://billhall.us/audio/BILL_HALL-The_Brightest-3.m3u (lofi modem)
those are of course both m3u playlist files which link to the actual mp3s:-the lofi version is an mp3 encoded at 40KBPS
the hifi is at 128KBPS
Good on yer Billyboy
I hope you can sing some live in McVeighs come November
Enjoy

Very nice! I haven't heard this one before now.
I've been familiar with Bill's web-site, though I haven't been there lately.
Thanks, Val, for posting... and thanks, Bill, for the music and uploading to youtube.
I think there is a new addition to my music "wish list"!

I appreciate it. The little Sony cybershot Hx-1, I just got a couple of months ago.
The video of "surviving the cut" was made with that camera which has quite a nice video mode. The photo's from "Here with you" were also with that camera. The photo's on my regular website (non-youtube) were mostly by other people with various cameras.
The Sony cybershot HX-1 is a good and versatile camera but it has a lot of digital noise. So bad that I had to buy a seperate software program to remove it. Once you accept the fact that you have to do that post shooting process you end up with nice pics.. I bore you with this only because you are a great photographer and love cameras :)
Thanks again Jim

Hi Jim,
It is called "topaz denoise" I use it as a plug-in to photoshop elements. I can't say enough good things about it. You can try it for free by downloading it. Thanks Pal.

bill, congrats on another wonderful composition (from your vast archives, yet timeless) and performance...and this is an especially tasty video frame you set up...i always get a kick out of the last segment of a video where the performer/videographer takes the gingerly, silent walk back across the frame to hit the STOP REC button:)
click away at some of the audio samplers at bill's site, folks...this is 'real' talent
