Great rendition. Really liked it. I commented on You Tube as well. ... I really like to see 'stars' performing Gordie tunes.. and ...and... to some degree...not a lot.... make some variations. The extended lead is great! ..And should I say it.. Gord should let his Band make a few extended trips to explore his tunes.
gogord!

Love it! I'm a Dwight fan from way back in 1985 and saw him at Canada's Wonderland a few years later. He certainly has a magnetic stage prescence..the gals were all a twitter.
;)
Singing his sultry Sundown rendition was a lovely treat.

I guess I'm just a mean ol' heifer, but I'm not too fond of Dwight, but then, I've never been real wild about him ever.

Dwight is a Cool Cat, I have several Cd's of his, my favorite is Dwight Yoakam Acoustic.
Favorite song, " A Thousand Miles From Nowhere."

It's Dwight Yoakam's birthday today, he is 53 years of age.

i agree, loosen up and let some of those solos ride out a bit live...but i wouldnt' count on it, most live rendition keys, tempos and durations are carefully crafted, almost like a Gord's Gold III session
i didnt' realize that country audiences were already saturated with Sundown covers...did this get laid down on an album? how about keith urban's version?
this is a different recording than above, pretty clean video and audio, enjoy

He knows how to bring sexy back with this tune...
Don't know why but he has a stage presence that is quite captivating..

I think he might have been here in the last year or so but it conflicted with attending another concert for another sexy guy..I will try to see him if he shows up around here again. Dwight I mean..
;)
it's been too long since I last saw him..
Don't know why but he has a stage presence that is quite captivating.
i guess it's one of those 'have to see it live' to appreciate it...but dig some of those tunes he's pumped out and enjoyed his (and ritter's) role in billybobblade
