I just found this, I don't know if it has been posted before. Enjoy, I hope. :)
YouTube - Remember Me I'm the One - Gordon Lightfoot
happy June, Patti
i imagine many havent seen it but there's a bunch of live GL links here:
http://www.corfid.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=19316
i started with that nice 1962 one and went forward chrono-illogically
for some fun discussion about the record itself, there is a subject called '1962, etc' that has the flipside as well....Daisy Doo
maybe a Live Gord links section will be created off the home page one day
cheers

happy June to you too Jim, and thanks.
I was trying to find a video of his song, Drifters today, but I didn't find one. Did he ever do that one live or do you know if someone else did a cover of it?

Ron Sexsmith did a great cover of Drifters, it's on the tribute cd, Beautiful.

frak ... I didn't bring my glasses...(notice the BSG reference)
The boot leg cover said
Gzowski In Conversation. ..typical low-key Canadian style guy interviewing Gord after the APPT album.
Drifters is on it.
I'd put it up on YouTube but worried about the 'soup nazis'.
There ya go Patti....search for it on the net ..its there.--- to buy anyway.

..i really would like that. that's very kind of you to offer.
typical low-key Canadian style guy
the Voice of Canada, Captain Canada for 15 years on CBC radio mornings
imo, nobody has been able to fill those shows and hold listeners far and wide together since (Ron MacLean perhaps)...i pass the Gzowski family monument weekly and can hear his distinct voice
he shared previously unknown authors to the nation and his literacy work with those challenged lives on...so does his golf tourney (held somewhere near the Arctic)....Peter smoked very much...i think of him as a radio guy
click around these archives if you want to get acquainted further
http://archives.cbc.ca/arts_entertainment/media/topics/1793/
i wish the In Conversation series was aired again...so many great guests that he was able to pull interesting thoughts from (eg. Jann Arden)
i will say that Peter talks a heck of A LOT during the interview...he is just pretty excited to have Gord on there...it should have been a 2 hour show, imo
enjoy the conversation...crisp stereo recording of Restless-APPT on there too

Does anyone else think that Gord's face NOW looks just like it did THEN (minus the 40+ yrs of living he has done since then)? The chin, ears, slicked back hair, expression. If I were more computer savvy, I would post the photo that goes with that video next to a photo I had taken 1.5 yrs ago which sits framed on my desk at work, and the similarities are absolutely stunning.
Yeah, I've noticed that. I think if you compare the pictures from Lightfoot! and APPT it's pretty clear you've got two shots of the same guy 35 years apart. Inbetween there were a lot of different looks.
