Is it me or does Gordon Lightfoot seem to be having the time of his life in these later years. He seems much happier on and off the stage.

I am a LONG time fan (saw him first in 1973) and saw him MANY (40?) times in concert.

After seeing him lately and reading many of your posts (which I enjoy greatly) about the concerts, GL seems VERY relaxed and enjoying very much what he is doing.

I am happy for him.

I agree on that. He's more accessible these days and is happy to chat, offer advice to those who play or write and just generally seems to be having a good time. He also stopped complaining when people clap along with songs.

Don't know how much is surviving the health scare and how much is just being at that stage where one can look back and not try to relive or change what one did in life. Maybe more focused in the present moment.

Whatever it is it's good to see.

Yeh, I must say that he does seem to have an impish twinkle in his eyes lately, the kind that a person has when they're enjoying life, as well as what they're doing.
