Here's 2 songs that Tim did. Working off the other camera to get more.
Thanks Tim. I simply love your versions of GL...and especially Long River...which i have said before.
Your singing is great and your guitar playing is damn near perfect. I am jealous.
Hope to see you again soon.

wonderful! and just to clarify - all the performers were outstanding. A few times while John was singing I had to make sure it wasn't Gord up there - so many times he sounded just like him, yet it was so natural. The guitar playing by each performer was truly amazing.
I loved hearing some of the older tunes we never hear Gord do anymore. And John is right - Tim's "Long River" was a real treat.
If you can put together a set list/performer that would be great John-then post it here.
If we could jsut get Paul to sing...we're gonna have to work on that!

Thanks everyone! And thanks John for putting these up. Char is right by the way, everyone played really well that night, I don't think you need to be jealous John, and it is hard not to be reminded of Gord's voice when you're singing.
One question though: I found the link to the Long River video, but it's been posted as private so I wasn't able to view it. Can that be fixed?
Thanks again to everyone. - Tim
I am jealous.
Me too.
Tim,
Your voice is a wonderful instrument, and your guitar work seems to be flawless.
I'm amazed how you folks can remember all the lyrics.
Envious in Tucson.

Tim a rather tall sort of fellow so when he got on stage the mic was too low for him. He adjusted it and started singing...and then he started to shrink as the mic began to lower all on it's own..lol
By the time he was standing there with his legs crossed in such a way that made me think it would soon be impossible for him to continue singing, Ron and John had come up to raise the mic and tighten it so it wouldn't slide down again. Through it all Tim just kept on a playin'..

ditto!....I remember seeing RonJ sing A Face of 1000 People (even the title is a mouthful) years back without any lyric sheet aids and thought same thing, what retention....that's when i realized that although I had a size 8 head, I had a size 2 brain
Vickie, for even more wonderful sound check this out if you haven't already:

It really is a special thrill knowing when the opportunity is at hand to actually meet and play tunes with a talented artist who is steeped in the music of Gordon Lightfoot.
This has been a pleasure for me on many occasions in the past and it keeps getting better.
When I discovered Tim was coming up from Rochester to be on the bill with us to perform it really enhanced the desire for me to be there.
Having watched all his videos and now getting to meet him in person was a big highlight and he pulled off a wonderful performance and in a most professional manner.
A true gentleman he is and he and his lady are a lovely couple.
Sincerely,
Ron J.

Hi again everybody,
thanks vickie!
Ron, such kind words! It was a pleasure to meet with you too and to hear your performance. My only regret is that there wasn't time to sit around and talk and jam with you and the other performers.
Char - if necessary, I would have dropped to my knees! I hate stopping in the middle of a song.
