Well,at least she DID apologize to Gordy for bonking him in the head. What a thrill that must have been for her to have THE MAN
sign those photos for her.

Who's the dark haired fellow standing beside Lightfoot that seems to react to the near-blinding incident with a wave of the hand and a "Cool it Miss Piggy... use your brain" look ?

That is Leslie, Gord's tour manager. Nice guy.

He's always right by Gord when he meets the fans. And like Brink says, he's a nice guy.
He's in Stockholm now with some other musical act. Can't recall what name he told me tho..
lol
Gord looked a tad ticked off as well.

Miss Piggy has balls! I'd be embarrassed to ask Gord (or anyone for that matter) to sign that many pictures especially when there were people waiting behind me. It was an accident, though, and she did apologize quite a few times.

I'm surprised that Gord would sign something that has "commercial potential", and multiples at that! and with his manager standing by no less... he's too nice I'd say. Generally, artists don't sign things like that (such as guitars etc)
But aside from all of that, it was pretty cool to see video of the back-stage, Meet and Greet. We've seen lots of pictures here (stills), but this is the first I recall seeing video. And yes, Gord seems every bit the gentleman that you all attest to! Even after such an incident.

Indeed. He put in some effort to neatly sign the pics. Not an easy thing to do without full hand support.

I agree with the comments posted. With 5 copies of the same print, this is most likely for commercial gain; but even if they are for sharing with family & friends, it’s still too much of an imposition, especially when other fans are waiting.
Alot of entertainers wouldn’t be nearly as patient. Last summer, I was at a Wayne Gretzky celebrity golf tournament. We were watching John Elway approach a tee box. It was early in the morning on the first day, so there were almost no fans around (maybe four or five). Elway signed three or four passes/programs, but wouldn’t sign a Broncos #7 jersey a guy was wearing. Elway said “No memorabalia.”. At the time I thought this was kind of harsh – the guy was actually wearing the sweater, looked like a fan to me. But you never know.
In the case of this video, Gord appeared too polite to refuse. Probably Leslie should have stepped in to play bad cop, in the interest of the other people waiting.

Many sports celebs have contracts which will not allow them to sign memorabelia autographs unless at a signing show/event. Likely Elway has one of these contracts.
wow, Gordo almost got caught in the eye of that old storm
i would think those signed prints are for a charity event...i think that gal's partner (george chuvalo?) was probably explaining that before the audio video kicked in...but if not, ebayers keep your eyes peeled for these and let us know if they surface, so to speak
btw, i now know what a wonder bra is...amazing
she offered to send gord a copy to his home (i trust he gave EMP addy and not his)...i don't think he really needs another pic of the wreck, i believe the stunning foam hat completed his collection of Wreck memorabilia
useless info: the patient guy at the end of the video is Jeff McNeice (and his dj wife, I believe) from local country radio
