onre viewers comment for what it is worth:-
This video has recorded at Magic Mountain November 7, 1981, the Kingston Trio was Bob Shane, George Grove and Roger Gambill.
At this Concert 3 guest stars Dave Guard, Nick Reynolds and John Stewart (and Mary Travers).
Since 4 are passed Roger 1985, Dave1991 and John and Nick last year. Marvellous singers. RIP.

Pretty cool. Size two shoes? No idea.

I'll have to look and see of there is any version out there with the the Nick-Bob-John trio who originally recorded it. They put it out pretty much at the same time Peter, Paul and Mary did. My early introduction to Gordon.

I notice they sing "stuck here on the ground where the cold winds blow." The one time I met Gord I asked him about the lyric change there. He said, "Did I ever sing where the cold wins blow?" When I assured him he did he replied "I have no idea!" which I thought was just about perfect. He then backtracked and figured out that the change had to be Ronnie Hawkins because he's the one who introduced it to Peter Paul and Mary and their recording has the lyric we're used to.

I don't know about size two shoes.......maybe a private joke between all of them and Gordon?
