i grew to love each of these tunes when i heard them live

you gotta love Couchiching and On Yonge St as his paying homage to his stomping grounds

just like I find it hard to diss the Flyin Blind or No Mistake About It productions seeing as these include some of Red's last licks....I think Gord would have changed some lyrics and phrasings on a few Harmony tracks given the opportunity

so this whole poll has me trying to differentiate between my least favourite song compositions (words and music) vs song productions....i think some tunes that made the playoffs are just undesirable arrangements/production...although neither George Martin nor Mutt Lange could even save that Canary one

I agree with that and I suspect that the production has pushed some of the nominees over the edge from "well, not his best day" to the current category.
