I happened to be checking the line up for March and much to my surprize I noticed a date for Rockford, IL.! This is in my backyard! To say I'm excited would be a monumental understatement. Better yet, it's on a Saturday night!

I couldn't help but notice that there are some 15 shows in 19 days! A pretty heavy schedule I'd say.

I think my 5 year old (Emma) will be attending with me, along with my mother... 3 generations of Lightfoot fans! Now, how cool is that? Now, if only I could get a request in for "The Ponyman" for Emma... that would be the coolest!

It just don't get any better than this folks!

That is great news! I hope the three of you have a great time.

Gord played at the Grand Opera House in Wilmington, DE in 1998 - I was thrilled because it was 10-15 minutes from my house, and I was so familiar with the area etc. I brought my son (7), and he enjoyed it. He got a little tired at the end - I think he was nodding off actually. Gord played Ode to Big Blue which was great because he liked that song. Anyway, I'm so glad I took advantage of the opportunity because Gord hasn't been back to Delaware since!

Have fun and let us know how it goes!

It's official! I've got seats on the main floor, left side, Row H, seats 5-7.
Look forward to the possibility of meeting any fellow corfidians that happen by! Feel free to PM me.

Now all I have to do is get my Ponyman request sent to EMP. That would be very cool indeed if Gord played that for Emma!
