So sad

The newswires are reporting that John Travolta & Kelly Preston's 16-year-old son Jett has died. The family was vacationing in the Bahamas. Early indications are he had a seizure and hit his head. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful. What an awful way to start a new year (or end an old one, or any time.)

Yeah, I just heard the sad news this evening myself, and being that the Travolta's are a very family oriented bunch, I can tell you that John is devastated by the loss of his son. God give them comfort at his time.

Very sad. I saw a clip of them on tv a little while ago. Jett reminds me of my nephew who is a little older. Jett's little sister reminds me of my niece.

What I don't think that I will ever understand is why the cheesy paparazzi are picking on the Travolta's. OK, fine, so what if they are Scientologists? Where does that give the media freaks the right to pick on them & invade their privacy at such a time as this?
