Hello everyone,

I'm from Birmingham, Alabama, a Gordon Lightfoot fan for many years, a live music junkie, a photographer and brand new to this forum.

I've just launched a website to display some of the live concert photos I've taken over the past 30+ years (mostly Birmingham shows). Among the galleries is a set of images from Gordon's 10/9/1978 performance in Birmingham. The site is still under construction and there's lots more to come but I think you'll enjoy what you'll see. Please consider this an invitation to take an early look.

To get to the site, point your browser to http://www.billallenphotos.com (http://www.billallenphotos.com/)

Enter the site, click on Gallery, then click on Music and scroll the list to pick your artist/show. You'll be presented with thumbnails of the images that look like slides. Click on any thumbnail and you'll see the image in full size. Use the menu at the top to customize your viewing - there's a slide show, you can turn off captions, titles, etc, and if you let your cursor rest for a few seconds, everything will go away except the photo to maximize your viewing. If you register with the site, you can create your own personal lightbox where you can store up to 99 photos of your choice so that you don't have to look for them on subsequent visits.

Enjoy!

WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME TO CORFID WEALLEN! Oh, these photos take me back to those wonderful days gone by, except I used to have to "push" my 400 speed film (fastest there was in those days) and it would come out reddish! Thanks so much for sharing! SherylKat:kiss:

good stuff, refreshing pre-digital days! quite an assortment of gigs

wondered if any of the artists have purchased your fine work and/or are any looking to sell selections to the public and cut you in on a decent slice of the $ pie?
