Cool. 1967 I believe. I love Burton...can't stress that enough. LOL He's got a new CD, "Above The Ground" coming out on November 4th. Great stuff, all written by him. "Dream" is a personal favorite cut, as well as "Invisible".

You know what's interesting is there's a Bachman Turner Overdrive song in which I don't remember the title has literaly the same guitar work as this obscure GW song has.

I know Bachman was a former member which explains it.

they were taken at "Ontario Place" down by the lake in Toronto - at the old Forum-concert bowl in the round with a revolving stage..great place that they tore down.. :(
He was quite the showman..he could rock that baby grand too! Awesome catalogue of songs with Guess Who and on his own..love his stuff..
I saw him several years ago on his own with just the keyboard..lots of fun..there's no one more of a fan of Burton than Burton..
nothings changed..
lol

Char, I saw Burton back in the late 70's, at McCormick Place in Chicago. Sat in the 2nd row, so was able to see what a great showman he is. :) No pictures, unfortunately; I'm one of those crazies who doesn't take pictures if they are prohibited by the venue. LOL Thanks for sharing the ones you were able to take - they're fantastic! :) I'm definitely planning to hit some of his concerts once he starts touring to promote the new CD! :)

Back 'in the day' there weren't any camera police anywhere. I snapped pics every where I saw a show..
even at Massey we were allowed to come down to the main floor and take pics, sit in the aisle to take them, crawl around in front of the stage..it was great!
Nowadays it's like a major felony to take a few snaps at a concert you paid 100 bucks to attend! And it is almost always the rules of the venue and not the artist..
arrgghh!!!
