Just a short report about last night. The Harv was not your typical casino type showroom. It was more of an all purpose type arena that was flat and not tiered. We were 5th row center and although the seating started far back from the stage the seats were good. I, being under 5 feet still wanted to be closer so I moved up.

It seemed most people were there to really see Gordon Lightfoot, not just because they were high rollers and were given a ticket. I can not write set lists and enoy the show so maybe someone else did.

From the minute Gordon stepped out on stage he had the audience in the palm of his hand. Gordon started out strong and continued that way for the next two hours. There was no intermission. The man is strong and healthy. I am so excited to see and hear the concert tonight. :)

DSR, glad you had such a good time! I know what you mean....Gordon really sounded strong in Toledo as well. And there was a great crowd, very appreciative and enthusiastic. :) Enjoy the rest of the concerts you are attending!

I was there with my wife and we enjoyed the show! HE is as strong as ever! We listened to "Songbook" All the way back home and again today.

Anyone know how to contact Gordon? (Email or snail mail)We were on a tight schedule and couldn't wait.(I really wanted to) I want to share something with him about an old friend of his from NY.

Andrea,

I especially liked the first one, from the end of the show. Lightfoot's stance is rather statuesque. "Striking up a knightly pose", if you will.

I was amazed that so many turned out so well with very little fiddling on my part, especially since the stage was so dark most of the time.

I think I was behind you a few rows..I was Section F row 9 seats 1 and 2. My camera has really good zoom :) plus once or twice I was sneaky enough to snap a shot from the first row :)

I still have several to go through I think out of 109, 100 were decent to very good, which made me happy.

I only wish I had known about the Erie show...the Warner is such a lovely theater and there's a nice hotel right across the street.
